Hi all,

I was recently pointed to a paper written in German by Jochen Kunz on
how to write a NetBSD device driver (see
http://mail-index.NetBSD.org/tech-kern/2003/06/20/0011.html).  The
NetBSD Project would like to see this paper be translated into English.

I'm not sure if anybody has already begun to do that -- if you know of
any such efforts, Jochen, please let me know and I'll try to coordinate
everything or help you or others.

It's a 48 page paper, with a fair amount of code that would not need
translating.  If we split the work between a handful of people, it
shouldn't take us too long.

Please let me know if you're interested and/or if you know of any work
in that direction already in progress.
