FYI: I filed a qemu ticket for this:

	https://gitlab.com/qemu-project/qemu/-/issues/2775

with some debug log and gdb backtrace, hopefully this will be enough
for them to understand what is going on.

I filed another ticket (#2773) for a local issue I see often, but don't
have good debug data for that so far, so not holding my breath for a fix.
