>Description:
Altqd rc.d script hangs when stopping using i.e.: service altqd stop,
I've seen this for years. So maybe a bug report. Nb. old ALTQ in
kernel still works well these days.
>How-To-Repeat:
service altqd start; sleep 15; service altqd stop
on a kernel with ALTQ compiled in.
>Fix:
My fix is this patch to /etc/rc.d/altqd:
--- altqd-b 2026-10-28 23:17:46.879088841 +0100
+++ altqd 2026-10-28 23:20:35.408909936 +0100

of course the developers should have a better solution. :P
