Except it didn't, there wasn't enough explanation, it might just
have meant first "this is how one simply makes a snapshot" (that one
was clear enough) and second, "this is what you do if you want to make
a snapshot and have it mounted".

If "Mount a snapshot" had been "Mount an existing snapshot" or words
to that effect, it would have been clearer.   That's why I asked which
meaning you intended.
