 In my case I could not reproduce with 31 GiB of RAM, and could reproduce
 with 32 GiB of RAM. I could reproduce it more often if the VM had previously
 run a program which consumed - in my case - 25 GiB of RAM and 29 GiB of swap
 space. (Why that? I don't know. Maybe VirtualBox caches some things from
 one VM run to the next? Maybe the lack of free RAM in the host matters?)
