 Just wondering could you try a -current kernel?  It should work with a -10
 userland.
 
 There have been changes to the way xhci handles zero length packets (ZLP)s.
 
 I don't know if these affect uaudio directly but it may be another usb device 
 hogging the bus (esp network devices) causing trouble.
 
 Part of the fix was pulled up to -10 so maybe a new -10 stable kernel would 
 suffice.
 
 But please try a -current kernel and see how it goes.
