>Description:
I have an old HP laptop on which the fan was not working properly and I have not used in a while. Recently I installed Debian and although the fan error was kept showing when starting the laptop, there was no significant heating issue. But when I was installing NetBSD, the laptop was burning up. And even now, the laptop heats up significantly when used.
>How-To-Repeat:
Just general use overheats the laptop.
>Fix:
Maybe switching back to Debian might fix overheating but I would prefer to know what is the issue here.
