I can confirm the new NetBSD-sparc64 ISO has no problem booting up with a virtio-net-pci NIC ; got an error with ifconfig but I don't think I was using it correctly, as network works great when I use the Config menu in the installer to configure the vioif0
interface (DHCP worked fine, tested ssh after that). Thank you!!

This issue seems like it should be solved by the same fixes that
addressed port-sparc64/57290. I tested a similar configuration using
a recent image from the netbsd-10 branch and it worked without issue.
If it would not be too bothersome for the original submitter to test
this again, I think this could be resolved.
