Installing 10.1 on alpha works fine, and no problem using it with serial console.
Booting in "set console graphics" mode when the krenel switches to wscons the screen displays garbage (elsa) or a single purple color (radeon) screen.
Using an S3 card works fine but I assume it does not use fb.
