and the INSTALL notes they link to suggest that CD-ROMs work as installation media, but the installation images have been larger than fit on any CD-ROMs in a while and we seem to have decided that it's acceptable to restrict the media to larger DVDs.  But I don't know where that's written down and it's not obvious from the `NetBSD/i386 10.1 ISO' link.

Try to install NetBSD/i386 10.1 via optical media of around 700 MiB without realizing it doesn't fit in a CD, only in a DVD.
