Hi,
I tried again today using a daily snapshot from current (10.99.2 - March 07).
I noticed that kernel still stucks in a frozen state and the screen now gets corrupted:
About one third from the bottom of the screen is mostly filled with blue (installer) color, with some random white pixels here and there.
The upper two thirds of the screen, show the kernel boot messages in frozen state.
Screen remains stuck, so UEFI boot with nouveau is still broken. I think this needs more work.

i believe this is fixed in -current via this change:
it's not yet pulled up to the netbsd-10 branch.
