 Any movement on this PR?  Hit this again while building "openjdk17" on
 quad-core x86_64 hardware running NetBSD/i386 9.99.99 from shortly before
 the bump to ".100".  Essentially the same backtrace as reported previously.
 
 I've never hit this running NetBSD/amd64 on the same hardware, only when
 running NetBSD/i386.  I don't currently have any real i386-class hardware
 with sufficient speed/memory easily accessible, but once the weather gets
 cooler, I can probably arrange to set one up (and heat my house with it).
