 Out of curiosity, how big is the dk0 partition and would be able to make
 a compressed copy of it available?  Failing that we might be able to
 work out which blocks contain the suspect directory entry and analyse
 those further.  (I don't recall if that offset in the message is a byte
 offset or a block offset without checking the code.)
