When starting ctwm, I get the following output:
ctwm:  line 88:  ignoring unknown keyword:  titlefocus
ctwm:  errors found in twm file "/etc/X11/ctwm/system.ctwmrc"

This seems to have been an issue since this commit:

Have no custom .ctwmrc
Run xinit
In the open xterm, run ctwm
See ctwm's output

ctwm seems to work just fine when I remove the TitleFocus line. (It works just fine anyway, ignoring that line already)  I don't know if that's a valid solution, but it might be.
