 Sounds more than in theory :-)
 
 Given that the initial issue was filed against -current (and during
 6.99) it doesn't probably really need to get into -9. So I'll close
 the PR.
 
 (to the original submitter: if you would like it in -9 and it's not,
 write in and let us know)
