Yes, but the original reason of the copy is that the original version is difficult to make standalone, and it would be nice to have the resize functionality in base without having X installed. For example if I connect via ssh from an stern or othe terminal, I should get the right size set initially and when I resize. When will I get the size wrong and I would need to use resize? christos > On Feb 25, 2021, at 11:50 PM, Rin Okuyama <rokuyama.rk%gmail.com@localhost> wrote: > > The following reply was made to PR xsrc/56021; it has been noted by GNATS. > > From: Rin Okuyama <rokuyama.rk%gmail.com@localhost> > To: gnats-bugs%netbsd.org@localhost, matthew green <mrg%eterna.com.au@localhost> > Cc: > Subject: Re: xsrc/56021: /usr/bin/resize does not work > Date: Fri, 26 Feb 2021 13:45:35 +0900 > > Guess from > > diff -pu xsrc/external/mit/xterm/dist/resize.c src/usr.bin/resize/resize.c > > is, this is due to missing ``#if defined(USE_STRUCT_WINSIZE)'' block, > which was removed by hand.
