I haven't looked at the code, but there appears to be a limit on the amount of code that can be loaded as modules via the bootloader.
>How-To-Repeat:
Put many (e.g., > 15) large modules to boot.cfg. Upon reboot, some kind of a limit-related error message quickly flashes, and the boot hangs.
>Fix:
Either document the limit in boot.cfg(5) or, better yet, document it and allow the boot to continue with reduced number of modules.
