 You can manually execute the same sequence of commands that the test
 would run, and add the -s flag when starting the rump-server itself.
 It also helps if you have the debug set installed.  Oh, and don't
 forget to run rump.halt at the end of your testing otherwise I've seen
 the unix socket (pointed at by the RUMP_SERVER environment variable)
 hang around and get in the way of a subsequent test run.  :)
