 The story so far:

   8.99.21 (2 Jul 2018) works

   8.99.30 (16 Jan 2019) fails

The half-way point between these is 8.99.25 (9 Oct 2018), but the build
 failed building i915drmkms modules. I don't recall -current's buildability
during that time, so I don't know if inching forward a bit will fix
things. The problem files have not changed in the last 18 months.

 I've rolled back to 27 Aug 2018 04:30UTC (8.99.24) as that's just before
the merge of newer Linux drm stuff and am trying again.

I think the crucial point will be 22 Oct 2018, 20:13:47 UTC as that's
when the jdolecek-ncqfixes branch was merged. I don't know if i915drmkms
will still be a problem at that point.
