Is it possible my USB installation disk has file system corrupted ?
1. I created USB installation disk from
http://nycdn.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-9/202001160600Z/images/NetB=
SD-9.0_RC1-amd64-install.img.gz
with commands:
gzip -d NetBSD-9.0_RC1-amd64-install.img.gz
dd if=3DNetBSD-9.0_RC1-amd64-install.img of=3D/dev/rsd0d bs=3D32k
2. I booted computer with installation disk
3. When I run shell from utility menu of sysinst, shell is started from ins=
tallation disk and when I run ls command I can list files in root directory
4. When I do uname -a >> file.txt I get panic message
5. When I do uname -a >> file.txt in some subdirectory the command is done
I did second test:
1. I started computer with NetBSD 8.0
2. I connected and mounted USB installation disk with NetBSD 9.0_RC1
mount /dev/sd0a /home/u1/mnt
3. Next I went to /home/u1/mnt and did uname -a >> file.txt
Shell hang and when I pressed Ctrl-c computer rebooted
