Re: kern/54831: 9.0_RC1 GENERIC kernel crash while booting on VMware Fusion

The following reply was made to PR kern/54831; it has been noted by GNATS.

Just confirmed the problem, errors happens at:

Stopped in pid 0.5 (system) at netbsd:callout_softclock+0x5f: movq
 %rcx,0(%rdx)

The keyboard is not responsive at this moment, so can't get further
backtrace at this moment. Problem doesn't happen with -current kernel.
Maybe some missing USB pullup or some other partial pullup.

Does the callout_softclock() ring a bell for anyone?
