If it happens again could you please collect the output of "vmstat -s", wait a few seconds, and then capture "vmstat -s" again? That could be useful. Hmm, I wonder if backporting a change from -current to use marker pages when scanning the inactive queue in uvmpdpol_selectvictim() could help here. Andrew
