 I updated BOOTINFO_MAXSIZE to 16384 and now my system is reporting the
 memory correctly:

 total memory = 32385 MB
 avail memory = 31420 MB
 
 
 
 oddly though bootx64.efi is still reporting the 1540MB figure.
