 I have now run the test with NetBSD/i386 (running on 64-bit capable
 hardware) using sources from immediately before and after the commit
 identified by the amd64 bisection, and the results are the same as
 with NetBSD/amd64:
 
   source date 2018.03.16.04.45.20: the ddb prompt appears
   source date 2018.03.16.04.48.19: the ddb prompt does not appear
