 I have seen that as well, though on bare metal rather
 that a DomU (though to sysinst there should be little,
 if any, difference.)
 
 I used a similar workaround - just install manually.
 You could have done it from inside the DomU
 though, just tell sysinst not to install, but just give
 you a shell - after that, the same procedure
 except there's no need to vnconfig anything
 (which is fortunate as on bare metal there's
 no way to do it outside the running system.)
 
 I have been meaning to look into it - sometime - but it is
 not a high priority for me (system is installed now...)
