Maya, if you want to open a new PR, to maintain this driver, and to test
it on actual hardware, in a way that this code can be integrated in the
source tree, feel free to.

Otherwise this will be another round of 18-years-of-back-and-forth with
no result and a pure waste of time. I'm used to using the expression "cut
the bullshit" in cases like that (no personal offense included, to you or
to any of the guys that were present in this PR).
