>Release: NetBSD 7.1
>Organization:
CGN
>Environment:
NetBSD. 7.1 NetBSD 7.1 (GENERIC.20170311173Z) amd64
>Description:
It does it straight from the NetBSD install image:
I have replaced the original hard drive of my Lenovo T510 with a SSD <INTEL SSDSC2CW120A3>
If I exit the install program and go `reboot'
I get the following:
`uvm_fault(0xfffffe8107bb5a10, 0x0, 1) -> e
fatal page fault in supervisor mode
trap type 6 code 0 rip ffffffff804af70a cs 8 rflags 10246 cr2 20 ilevel 0 rsp fffffe8040db3d08
curlwp 0xfffffe81369ad6c0 pid 18.1 lowest kstack 0xfffffe8040db12c0
kernel: page fault trap, code=0
Stopped in pid 18.1 (reboot) at netbsd:wm_enable_wakeup+0x1c5: cmpl. $0x2,20(%rax)
db{2}>
(I retyped from the screen, so if something doesn't line up among all these cryptic numbers, I may have made a typo :) )
If I install this version, I get the same (or similar)
I have reinstalled a current version, but since I am experiencing problems with it too now (I think because of configuration though) I figure I would report this one since I have not seen it reported and it happens with the release available for download.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install a 110GB SSD Intel harddrive in a Lenovo T510 :)
Boot on an USB key with the install image of NetBSD 7.1
Exit the install program
Reboot
>Fix:
I would love to know which step to take to investigate more,
Would it help if I build a debug version of the install image and try with that ?
I wouldn't know which subsequent steps to take to investigate further,
Kind regards
