it's building o32 stuff but not passing this information to the linker which
defaults to n32 apparently, and cannot deal with this. so, a package problem.
workaround: add to gcc/config.gcc for netbsd/mips:
tm_defines="MIPS_ABI_DEFAULT=ABI_N32"
