 You meant =E2=80=9C/dev/rwd1d=E2=80=9D, which is a raw device.
 
 This command created =E2=80=9C/dev/wd1=E2=80=9D as a plain file of size =
 10 MB.
 
 Please remove /dev/wd1 and retry with =E2=80=9Cdd .. of=3D/dev/rwd1d =
 ..=E2=80=9D.
