 It seems that the crash only happens when attempting to partition &
 install over the network using a PCMCIA ne(4) card.
 
 Preparing the CF card on another NetBSD host with a FAT partition
 containing install sets & a blank NetBSD partition results in a
 successful install if the installation source is a local path which is
 the FAT partition.
