      I'm going to agree with this.  gpt(8) shouldn't be getting
 mangled every time some external item has an issue.  Also, drvctl
 is handy for a lot of things and really should be in pretty much
 every modern kernel.
 
      I disagree that this is a bug in gpt(8).  Every INSTALL kernel
 where gpt(8) is going to be used should have drvctl, or gpt(8)
 shouldn't be used.
