Just now while doing nbmake-i386 -j16 depend (on a 6-way machine) in
i386/ALL I iconifed xterm, then uniconified it a bit later. At that
point it wedged.

The make process ended up waiting on ttyout; all the shells it had
spawned had exited and become zombies.

Not sure how repeatable this is going to be, but I wanted to file a
report in the hopes that someone might have a theory about it.
