According to 
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/ , 
NetBSD isn't a supported OS. It seems to be mainly for Linux 
distributions, although it does support a few non-Linux OSes (such as 
Windows). If you want to install from a USB flash drive, see 
http://wiki.netbsd.org/tutorials/how_to_install_netbsd_from_an_usb_memory_stick/
 .
NetBSD provides a pre-made image for USB drives:
NetBSD-6.0.1-amd64-install.img.gz ; you shouldn't need to use a 3rd
party utility.
