 This bug appears to have been fixed.  Grepping the logs from my
 MKDEBUG builds for 'so.*stat: No such file or directory' shows
 175 occurrences between 2010.04.28.00.43.16 and 2012.08.16.21.46.18
 (inclusive), but none after that.

 I'm guessing it was fixed by joerg in src/lib/Makefile 1.188.  Thanks!
