 There are more than one problems that prevent "root on cd0" working

 and only one problem (kernel didn't recognize cd0 as a booted device
 on some BIOS) was fixed, but no further progress due to no feedback.
 
 I guess the real problem is around AHCI driver (probably timing issue),
 but I'm afraid no one is working on it.
