>Description:
If you install over a previous NetBSD installation, and choose to use the same
partition table, and then change the filesystem type, the newfs flag does not
automatically turn on.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install NetBSD 6.0 BETA 2 over a previously installed NetBSD 5.1 system. After
choosing the disk, and to use the whole disk, choose to use the current
partition table. Then change the filesystem type to something else. The newfs
flag remains "NO".
>Fix:
Either document the need to change newfs flag, or have sysinst change it
automatically. The latter would be preferable.
