Re: bin/46637: makemandb fails with segmentation fault

Well here's an update.
I deleted /usr/share/man and grabbed the latest man.tgz from nyftp.  Lo and behold no more errors.
Here is the tail end of running makemandb -vf

Parsing: /usr/local/man/mann/tk_chooseColor.n.gz
Parsing: /usr/local/man/mann/tk_chooseDirectory.n.gz
Parsing: /usr/local/man/mann/tk_optionMenu.n.gz
Total Number of new or updated pages enountered = 7356
Total number of pages that were successfully indexed/updated = 6729
Total number of (hard or symbolic) links found = 613
Total number of pages that could not be indexed due to errors = 14

tk (n)  Manipulate Tk internal state
The tk command provides access to miscellaneous elements of Tk's internal state. Most of the information manipulated by this command pertains to the application as a whole, or to a screen or display, rather than to a particular window...

Looks like I'm good now ...
