 This issue turned out to be a conflict between sys/dev/audio.c and
 sys/dev/usb/uaudio.c over the use of mutex locks, and was resolved by
 mrg's commit of sys/dev/audio.c 1.261 on April 30th.
 
 The solution has been tested, and the ticket may be closed.
