>Description:
My i386 system running 6.0_BETA (netbsd-6 sources as of 2012.03.12)
doesn't detect IDE CDROM drive. It is attached to an
internal IDE controller.

Motherboard is GA-8I945GMF.

Additional USB controller and ethernet card are plugged in into PCI slots.

Kernel is GENERIC.

Full dmesg output is here (for 5.99.60)
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/current-users/2012/01/19/msg018864.html

Linux detects cdrom drive without problems.
If it helps Linux's dmesg output is available here
