 Yes, I am sure:
 
 qemu-netbsd-51-sparc$ which awk
 /usr/bin/awk
 
 Simply, I have installed NetBSD 5.1 on SPARC using sparccd.iso
 and got AWK installed this way.
 Then I grabbed current pkgsrc and started installing
 Automake, Autoconf, m4, etc.
 
 I have not tweaked anything in any custom way.
