 Can you try 5.1 or -current? There were a bunch of fixes for nvidia
 viaide and I don't think they all made 5.0 (although I don't remember
 for sure...)
 
 Failing that, could you paste the dmesg bits for the viaide
 controller?
 
 Some of the nvidia sata controllers that attach as viaide ought to be
 getting handled as ahcisata instead, and I'm pretty sure we haven't
 found them all yet.
