Nice to see this...

It would be clearer if you change the references to Linux in the source
files that were copied from Linux files to say NetBSD instead wherever
it applies.

The Linux threads handling isn't going to work since NetBSD doesn't do
threads that way.  But you can use the code I submitted for bin/30756
for that.
