 I've been seeing this on uniprocessor 2.4GHz /i386 when compiling
 NetBSD-5 from NFS mounted sources.  failures are not consistent -- three
 previous builds completed successfully.
 
 host is running 5.0_STABLE built in mid-February 2010.
