Can't get uname -a since I can't install NetBSD.
>Description:
I have a Intel DH55TC motherboard with an i7-860 CPU and 8Gb of memory. When
attempting to boot amd64 NetBSD 5.0.2 from CD, the kernel loads and then aborts
right after it prints out the real and available memory. I am guessing that it
does not know about the i7-860, but I can't be sure.
CentOS 5.4 boots fine.
I wish I could give you a screen shot, but there is no serial port available
for me to hook up something that will allow me to get that.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try to boot amd64 NetBSD 5.0.2 from the ISO burned to a CD.
