 Ok, further measurements under 5.0 show that obviously cp and tar write
 to the share with a big enough blocksize to just be "a bit" (~10%) behind
 smbclient. So at least in these cases the performance no longer is to
 be censored in comparison to smbclient - still noticably slower though.
 Next measurement will actually feature -current, finally :)
 Btw, the file server I'm writing to is a BlueArc Titan...
