 How do you think about PRs kern/42573 and toolchain/42574?
 (tools makefs(8) on Cygwin creates corrupted ffs image)
 
 Is it acceptable to add a kludge "#undef DEV_BSIZE"
 in src/tools/compat/compat_defs.h for now?
