The sendmail package has been modified to work around this problem.
Although, I still believe this to be a toolchain problem, it is unlikely
to ever be fixed.

Since only one define is needed, I chose a much simpler way then the
one's in the patches provided.  I also didn't bother with STRL since that
doesn't really add much in the way of security.
