>Description:

After going back to retro style by default, startx (and probably the default
xdm config) should grow a -noretro server arg.

Like:

  defaultserverargs="-noretro"

in startx. This avoids the irritating flicker when starting up the X server
before the user configured "real background" is displayed.

Note that this does *not* reintroduce the annoying problems leading to
the retro change, as both xdm and startx will run clients ASAP, so there
will be something visible instead of a dead black screen.
