i386

using the iwi driver (Intel IPW2200BG, with the apropriate sysctl eula enabled)
i get the following error in dmesg:
iwi0: could not cache the firmware
iwi0: cannot assign link-local address
iwi0: timeout waiting for ucode to initialize
iwi0: could not load microcode
iwi0: cannot assign link-local address
iwi0: timeout waiting for firmware initialization to complete
iwi0: could not load main firmware

ifconfig iwi0 up

no idea, but please, if you can.
