 amd64

>Description:
The installation CD will hang shortly after boot while the kernel is scanning
for devices. Since the Inspiron 530 has no PS/2 style keyboard or mouse
connections, I decided to try compiling a release from 5.0.1 and current
without pckbd and pms support. Everything seems to work correctly with that
configuration.

This issue also exists in 4.0, 4.0.1, 5.0, 5.0.1 for both amd64 and i386.

>How-To-Repeat:
Boot an installation CD from any of the 4.x or 5.x series for either amd64 or
i386. The kernel will hang shortly thereafter.
>Fix:
Compile a kernel without pckbd and pms support in the kernel.
